Accessibility audit by our experts

An accessible website and app is not just a legal requirement – it is an investment in better user experiences, wider reach and a stronger brand. With our accessibility audit, you get a clear picture of your current situation, concrete improvement suggestions and support to meet WCAG 2.2 and EN 301 549.

On June 28, 2025, the European Accessibility Act (EAA) came into force, setting new requirements for e-commerce, banking, and passenger transport services across Europe. The public sector has already been covered by the Web Accessibility Directive since 2020.

If your organization wants to be legally compliant and provide a better experience for all users, the most effective first step is to order an accessibility audit of your website or app. Our experts at Useit can help you identify accessibility barriers, understand where you stand today, and create a clear plan for what to prioritize to meet the law—and to make your digital services more inclusive.

Our audits

We provide different levels of accessibility audits and reviews so you can choose the option that best matches your budget and goals. Each audit can also be tailored to your organization’s specific needs.

Option 1: Simple accessibility audit

A focused review of a limited set of pages and functions that gives you a quick snapshot of your accessibility level at a cost-effective price. You’ll receive concrete examples of issues and practical suggestions for improvement.

Option 2: Accessibility audit for legal requirements

A comprehensive audit where we evaluate more than 100 criteria based on WCAG 2.1, WCAG 2.2, and the EN 301 549 standards. We test essential functions, review code and user flows, and deliver clear recommendations to help you achieve compliance.

Option 3: Full accessibility audit

Our most extensive option, which goes beyond legal requirements. In addition to WCAG and EN 301 549 compliance, we examine the overall user experience, including information structure, design choices, readability, and content design—so your services can truly reach all users.

A clear and helpful report

We deliver the audit in a modern digital report that makes it easy to overview the results and prioritize your efforts. Each accessibility issue is described in text and illustrated with an image, code example or video. Here’s what an excerpt from a report might look like:

We are with you all the way to the finish line

An accessibility audit is just the beginning. Once you receive the results, we make sure you understand them fully and know exactly how to move forward. Every audit includes a handover meeting where our experts walk you through the findings in detail. You’ll learn which issues are most critical, which user groups are affected, and which improvements should be prioritized first.

If needed, we can also assist you in producing an accessibility statement based on the results of the review, making it easier to communicate your compliance efforts to users and stakeholders.
